We are a team of geotechnical engineers with a head office near Munich, Germany, and offices in the United States, Spain, and Hong Kong.

Members of Soilmechanics carry partial ownership of Betterground Group, which since the spinoff of its engineering arm through Soilmechanics, reduced its services to equipment sales, rental, and repair.

As a spinoff from Betterground Group, we continue Betterground’s engineering activities and expand them to a wider scope. This history is why all our staff have extensive experience working for ground improvement specialty contractors. Therefore we can support our clients not only with first-class engineering design but also with constructability evaluations, tender document optimization, on-site quality control planning and supervision, and all other aspects of the work that are best learned from the perspective of a contractor engineer.
